​In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

  • Apply advanced techniques to achieve FPGA configuration, software validation with the highest quality, productivity, and time-to-market.

  • Create comprehensive SW validation test plan based on architecture specification. The validation plan encompasses functional and system level.

  • Developing system level tests and necessary coverage goals based on specification to verify the firmware, IP and tools implementation.

  • Writing directed and random test cases, debugging failures, filing and closing bugs.

  • Identify emerging software or validation technologies that can improve configuration validation efficiency and able to apply shift left methodologies such as simulation and emulation.

  • Technical leadership is expected to support a culture of idea generation, proliferation and innovative solutions to complex problems.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's/Masters or PhD degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with experience in software/firmware verification/validation.

  • Experienced using advanced system design and validation methodologies and technologies such as FPGA prototyping, emulation, simulation and co-emulation.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Perl, Python2/3, including reading Hardware/ Software specifications and turning them into tests.

  • A strong work ethic/drive to always improve and works well in collaboration with others

  • Have ability in debugging/analyzing failures while connecting the dots to solve issues.

  • Able to work efficiently and independently once familiar with our systems and processes.

  • A keen eye for calling out and raising issues without fear of being reprimanded and willing to take calculated risks.

  • Strong in both written and verbal communication skills.
