Directs and manages a team of software infrastructure and DevOps engineers and architects responsible for creating the design infrastructure required for software development, including build, test, and/or automation. Provides technical guidance and ensures sound engineering practices are followed. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications


Education: A bachelor's degree/master in computer science, information technology. Other industry professional certification will be added value including ITIL, Agile, PMP, Linux or Windows certification, Network certified and etc. Experience: Extensive experience (min 8 years) in the IT industry is essential, including several years of progressive leadership roles. This may include experience in areas such as IT project management, infrastructure management, software development, or IT operations. Technical knowledge and experience in IT/lab hot demand skills is important to lead the team. Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities are crucial for an IT Manager. They should have experience managing and leading teams, overseeing projects, and making strategic decisions. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, and be balance in managing people and work result. Technical Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of various IT domains is important, including infrastructure, networking, systems, cybersecurity, software development, and emerging technologies. Knowledge of industry best practices and trends is also advantageous. Business Acumen: Solid understanding of the organization's business objectives and be able to align IT strategies and initiatives to support those goals. They should possess financial acumen and the ability to manage IT budgets effectively. Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is necessary for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects on time and within budget. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks is beneficial. Strategic Thinking: Able to demonstrate strategic thinking skills, being able to develop and execute IT strategies that align with the organization's long-term goals. Need to have forward-thinking mindset and the ability to anticipate future technology needs. Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and evaluating third-party IT services and solutions is important. Team Building and Development: Building and nurturing high-performing teams is a critical skill for an IT Senior Manager. They should be able to attract top talent, provide mentorship and guidance, and foster a positive work environment. Industry Knowledge: Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations is important. Active participation in professional IT associations or obtaining relevant certifications demonstrates commitment to professional growth.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
