Silicon IP and Firmware Group (SIFG) is responsible for delivering state-of-the art system firmware products, engineering, and technology for Intel platforms to enable Intel's achievement of its strategic objectives while delighting our customers.
We mainly develop Memory Reference code (MRC) and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation processors. We are responsible for authoring MRC specifications, creating memory reference code and developing / supporting platform Intel's CPUs and chipsets. We work closely with Intel silicon design teams and are responsible for all software and MRC related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Active Student from Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ months of experience with software development skills: knowledge in C/C++, Python.
Intermediate+ level of English.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
6+ months of experience in the industry software engineering processes, principles and product life cycles.
Competency with PC architecture or system Basic Input Output System (BIOS).
Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
