Finance Controller
Job Description
Grange Newco LLC is a joint venture entity between Intel Corporation and Apollo managed funds and affiliates related to Intel's Fab34.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the achievement of business objectives and optimization of financial performance.
You will have the experience and confidence to critically appraise information and ask challenging questions while looking at the bigger picture and partnering with and influencing both financial and non-financial stakeholders to drive performance. You will collaborate with the factory controller and corporate accounting teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a large and complex environment in the technology sector.
Responsibilities:
General Accounting
Oversee and manage the general accounting function.
Develop strong working relationships across the organization to understand business needs and provide accounting support.
Collaboration
Collaborate with key business partners in Finance, Legal, Operations, and Internal Audit.
Support the operational and technical implementation of new agreements or transactions.
Group Reporting
Ensure effective monthly/quarterly close processes and periodic reporting of results.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, accounting policies, and IFRS.
Prepare technical accounting guidance on complex topics.
Support investor stakeholder reporting.
Manage annual financial statements, external audits, and statutory reporting obligations.
Align internal control framework with the group control environment.
Support internal audit requirements.
Risk Management
Lead the risk management review and reporting process.
Tax Compliance
Support tax processes and ensure compliance with all tax-related filings (payroll, VAT, income tax, trade compliance, etc.).
Process Improvement
Develop cross-functional processes to improve financial reporting efficiency and optimize execution.
SAP Implementation
Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience at a multinational corporation and/or public accounting firm.
University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in accounting preferred.
Strong understanding and extensive experience applying US GAAP along with a good knowledge of IFRS.
Strong technical writing skills.
Experience with local corporate tax compliance is a plus.
Strong analytical, research, and project and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and/or cross-functionally as needed to deliver on priorities.
Ability to manage through ambiguity in complex environments while continuing to drive action.
Proven experience with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and prioritization across stakeholders.
A 'can do' attitude and solutions-oriented approach.
Clear and concise communication skills upward to senior leadership and across organizations.
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Office suite, Power BI, report writing, etc.
