Senior Procure to Pay Accounting Specialist
Job Description
As a member of the Procure to Pay Accounting Group you will be part of the broader Corporate Accounting group and Chief Accounting Office. This is a dynamic, high impact role that actively works with key stakeholders to improve and govern our systems, policies, and processes. Primary business partners for this role include employees involved in the procurement of goods and services on behalf of Intel, statutory reporting and accounting, IT, SOX, the global supply chain, purchasing and finance teams and P2P Accounting BPOs.
In this role, candidate may perform the following but not limited to:
Represent P2P Accounting group in strategic cross functional projects, driving P2PA results through to established milestones.
Manage month and quarterly-end P2PA close processes ensuring financial integrity and compliance is maintained.
Perform accounting research on complex technical P2P problems.
Quickly synthesize disparate information to identify accounting opportunities/risks/issues, then create and drive solutions
Act as the key P2P accounting point person for stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of the key P2PA processes and practices to drive good decision making.
Provide report out to manager and finance leaders
The ideal candidate will have the following behavioral traits:
Strong communications skills
Ability to network across and outside of finance, including Global Supply Chain, IT, Legal and broader finance groups.
Candidate must be able to work independently and manage through ambiguity in complex and changing environments.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or related financial field and at least 6 years of experience in accounting/finance
Advanced English level
5+ years of experience in the following:
Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP
Excel and PBI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Skills manipulating tons of data and providing analysis about P2PA data
P2P, integration and divestiture previous experience is a plus
