SAP Software Developer for Finance Master Data Management

Job Description

Core Data Solutions maintains the master data for Intel, ensuring best availability and quality in the data catalogs across all the company. Our group is looking for a Software Application Developer Engineer that will work supporting Finance Master functionalities.

As a Software Developer your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Work together with Stakeholders, architects and software Engineers from different domains to implement, test and deploy solutions for the Finance Master Data domain and Work end to end in their implementation.

- Designing, developing, testing, and debugging Master Data solutions that will be used by end users or integrated with other applications. Using SAP software development methodologies and programming languages, follow secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyze user stories.

- Support different operations related to SAP Finance Master Data processes like month and year end, Maintain Cost Centers, Profit Center financial Hierarchies, GL Accounts, Company Codes and others ...

- Write both functional and test code, automate build and deployment, and to perform unit integration and end to end testing of applications. You will also be required to complete SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

- Interact with end users and stakeholder to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in the following:

- Working with SAP Finance modules, specifically in master data management.

- Proficiency in SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules.

- Experience in managing and executing projects related to SAP Finance master data. 

2+ years of experience with data migration tools and techniques, such as SAP Data Services.

Advanced English level

Preferred qualifications:

- Basic understanding of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience working with SAP Finance modules, specifically in master data management.

- Advanced proficiency in SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules.

- Strong understanding of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and its application in finance.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

- Deep knowledge of data migration tools and techniques, such as BODS or SAP Data Services.

- Familiarity with ABAP programming for custom developments and enhancements.

- Understanding of integration points between SAP Finance and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).

- Experience in data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes

- Proven track record of leading and executing complex projects related to SAP Finance master data.

- Certifications: SAP certification in Finance or Master Data Governance.

Working Model
