Our Group is responsible for developing Linux drivers and technology for Intel's Graphics/Compute products as well as GPU Software stack integration and validation.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Use your technical skills to dive deep into Intel's Linux GPU SW stack.
- Contributing toward the release of industry-leading features for Intel's integrated and discrete graphics/compute products.
- Writing good quality tests to validate Linux Graphics Drivers and debug/fix test issues.
- Work directly with open source communities and across business units within Intel.
- Perform design, development, validation, documentation, and power and performance analysis.
- Innovate and execute test development to qualify Linux Graphics Stack.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience working in large scale software product development teams and projects
- 10+ years of experience in C programming.
- Active user of Linux OS in day-to-day tasks.
- Good understanding of Linux kernel internals and different Driver infrastructure.
- Understanding Linux Kernel Memory Management.
- Experience in developing DRM/KMD driver for LINUX.
- Hands-on experience and presence in open-source community, be aware of trends and ideas generated in upstream community. Be able to share list of implemented series that were merged to upstream community or to share series were participated as reviewer.
- Experience with various device driver debugging mechanisms. Experience with code debugging and fixing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of industry experience working in large scale software product development teams and projects.
- 10+ years of experience in C programming.
- 4+ years of Linux DRM subsystem and graphics SW stack.
- Understanding Linux Kernel Memory Management.
- Experience in developing DRM/KMD driver for LINUX.
- Good knowledge about i915 and other graphics drivers.
- Hands-on experience and presence in open-source community, be aware of trends and ideas generated in upstream community. Be able to share list of implemented series that were merged to upstream community and to share series were participated as reviewer. Being a maintainer of subsystem or project is more than welcome.
- Experience in porting of kernel driver on different Linux OS Distributions/ kernels. Hands-on in Bash shell scripts and python and GNU tools.
- Experience with various device driver debugging mechanisms. Experience with code debugging and fixing.
