Job Description
Role Overview:
This role will be part of the Global Consumer Category Sales team, reporting into the Strategic Insights and Enablement (SI&E) team.
The intern will be assigned specific projects to further the mission and vision.
This role is global in nature and will collaborate with teammates located in EMEA, US, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and prepare insights and recommendations using quantitative and qualitative business data, covering a wide array of domain-specific subjects and specialized topics.
Identify patterns in the data that contribute to the understanding of the market; transform data into actionable insights to support decision-making and impact improvements in business practices.
Assess strategies by analyzing industry trends and markets.
Build compelling data stories, translate data into insights, provide recommendations and options, and measure the business impact of decisions made.
Advise on analytical projects for senior leadership, often influencing decision-making through compelling narratives and storytelling.
Explore new and innovative visual approaches and techniques such as interactive dashboards for better data storytelling.
Design, develop, test, and deploy business intelligence scripts as required and perform detailed analytics.
Conduct business analysis, collect business requirements, and translate them into business intelligence solutions leveraging best practices, and help customers build data acumen.
Collaborate with a variety of business/functional stakeholders and bridge to technical staff, including Data Engineers and Data Architects, to build analytics and business intelligence requirements in the design stage.
As a successful candidate, you must be available to collaborate with teammates across the globe. Depending on location, this may mean later evening and/or early morning meetings. Flexibility is a must.
This role is a 13 month fixed term contract aimed at candidates who are in the 2nd year of a degree course or integrated masters.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, data science, computer science, or a related field.
6+ months of working experience or practical knowledge in Python, Power BI, and proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of practical application of AI solutions on Power BI and Excel, and Machine Learning experience on big data sets.
Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
