Graduate Talent (Information Security Engineer)
Job Description
You will be a member of a highly collaborative team of information security professionals who are responsible for providing best-in-class security capabilities that keep Intel secure and deliver business value to our stakeholders. We are looking for graduate talent who is highly motivated, has communications, awareness, technical writing and/or change management skills and is interested in enhancing their cyber security skills. You will partner with Information Security Analysts/Engineers to help configure, manage, secure and integrate data platforms and applications supporting the Vulnerability Management process including Vulnerability Assessment, Identification, Remediation and Compliance across the enterprise.
As an Information Security Engineer your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Conduct vulnerability scans at all levels on both internal and external systems within the enterprise.
- Perform assessment of vulnerabilities identified through scans by evaluating/performing risk assessments, prioritizing vulnerabilities discovered and drive remediation campaigns/enforcement working with various teams.
- Provide vulnerability remediation/patching support to asset owners and work with asset owners on the closure of the vulnerability per the fix directions.
- Maintain knowledge of the threat landscape, provide vulnerability assessment/analysis, and produce reports for management.
- Collaborate and interact in a dynamic environment with multiple global teams to solve security problems.
- Document policies, standards and processes related to Vulnerability Management, and keeps them current. Improve existing process and solutions through automation, upgrades, and integration with various systems, tools, data sources for applications within the organization.

- Customer service and stakeholder management skills, including experience in setting and managing user and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Cyber/Information Security, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or any other science/engineering related field with current CGPA 3.0 and above or equivalent
Understanding of and/or completed coursework in one or more of the following:
- Information security models and concepts
- Information Technology/Security Operations and Service Delivery
- Data Analytics and Software Development
Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of, and/or completed coursework in:
- Security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
- Basic scripting/development (Python, JavaScript) and database (SQL) skill
- Software development concepts including Agile
- IT/Security Systems Engineer/Administrator duties
- Data science, data analytics and data visualization/reporting techniques and tools
- Professional certifications through industry recognized organizations such as CompTIA, ITIL, SANS, ISACA, ISC2
