Junior Data Scientist Intern
Job Description
- The Data Analytics (DA) Team within the External Manufacturing Production (EMP) Department requires a Junior Data Science Intern to support the Global External Manufacturing (GEMS) Organization.
- This role is vital for providing advanced analytics including AI/ML and data solutions to enhance yield learning and operational efficiency.
- The ideal candidate will be curious, motivated, and passionate about data science and operation, with a strong interest in delivering analytics and data-driven solutions within the semiconductor domain.
- Key responsibilities include collaborating within a global organization, developing Python applications with ML capabilities, SQL queries and performing experiments in new data domains, supporting Intel engineers' quarterly objectives, and contributing to data science application in yield improvement and power performance analysis.
- The candidate should exhibit strong communication skills, self-motivation, responsibility, curiosity, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a desire to drive innovation and process improvements.
- This position is essential for the DA Team to continue providing high-quality data solutions, driving innovation, and enhancing operational efficiency, making it a valuable investment for the EMP Department.
- This is a 1-year internship opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Statistics or any related data management domains
- Must have experience with Python and SQL
- This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
- Good communication and understanding in English
- Good Teamwork and interpersonal skill
Prefer to have:
- Exposure in project or research in data analysis or data management
- Experience in software development
- Experience in Plotly/Dash for data visualization
- Experience in SCRUM or other Agile software development methodologies
