Data Center Market Intelligence Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Intelligence Specialist to join the Data Center Strategic Planning and Market Analytics organization (part of the Data Center and AI business unit - DCAI).The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating data center market trends including systems, CPU, and accelerators and act as the DCAI market insights team lead. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help our company make informed decisions regarding our data center technology investments, product development, and market strategies.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Monitor and analyze data center systems (rack components such as CPU, accelerators, connectivity plus power, cooling, etc) market trends, including pricing, technology advancements, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies.
Develop and maintain analytical models such as TAM forecasting and segmentation to predict market movements and potential impacts on the business.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
Create regular reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations for executive leadership. Advise on analytical projects for senior leadership, often influencing decision making through compelling narratives and storytelling.
Support the data center strategy and product teams with ad-hoc analysis and market intelligence as needed.
Gather, clean, analyze, and prepare insights/recommendations using quantitative and qualitative business data, covering a wide array of domain specific subjects and specialized topics.
Collaborate with a variety of business/functional stakeholders and bridges to technical staff, including Data Engineers and Data Architects to build analytics and market intelligence requirements in the design stage.
Engage with external analysts from market intelligence firms to triangulate our own internal perspectives as well as to get outside in data points.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Economics, Statistics or other related field
Minimum qualifications:
9+ years of relevant experience in the following;
Market intelligence or data analyst role focused on the technology or data center industry (or equivalent experience).
Track record of analyzing market trends, ideally with a specific emphasis on data center and AI related technologies.
Experience with data center operations, infrastructure, and the competitive landscape of the ecosystem.
Preferred qualifications:
A related technical Master's/PHD degree or an MBA with a focus on analytics or technology management.
Experience in statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining techniques.
Familiarity with CPU, accelerator and/or AI architectures, performance benchmarks, data center ecosystem, and industry standards.
Understanding of AI and/or HPC.
Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) and/or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
