Linux Software Quality Engineer

We are one of the fastest growing groups with a lot of challenges in the line of sight, focused on delivering network solutions to Intel's products that will support the automotive business segment. We are seeking Linux Driver Quality Engineers to join our team in Gdansk.

With Intel HW capabilities we are offering a variety of innovative features that are going to change the automotive business. We have a solid team in which you'll learn a lot about quality assurance and validation techniques and develop your skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use your expertise in Python or C# to conduct comprehensive validation of TSN and CAN communication drivers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in industrial settings

• Perform rigorous testing to optimize TSN/CAN protocol performance for enhanced throughput, reduced latency, and improved network synchronization, in compliance with TSN standards like IEEE 802.1Qbv, Qci, Qbu, and Qcc

• Ensure that TSN/CAN solutions adhere to industry standards and client specifications, with a focus on protocol compliance in traffic shaping, frame preemption, and time synchronization

• Lead the integration of TSN/CAN systems with various industrial components, applying advanced troubleshooting skills and utilizing simulation tools and protocol analyzers to identify and solve complex technical challenges

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• 4-5 years of validation experience,

• Python/C# is preferable programming language

• Good experience in Linux operating system

• Willingness to learn new things and work in a group

• Good English skill (both writing and speaking)

Nice to have:

• Experience in developing test scripts for Linux kernel components

• Network stack knowledge (low-level OSI layers)

• Knowledge of automotive communication interfaces such as CAN

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
