Job Description


NM DMO (New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization) will play an important role in Intel's recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors. NM DMO F11x has a unique charter to not only deliver high-volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop Silicon Photonics (SiP), EMIB, Foveros, and Foundry products. NM DMO is seeking (MGLs) Module Group Leaders for several areas.

Planar Chemical Delivery Systems (PCDS) MGLs will manage a team of engineers and manufacturing technicians to sustain, start up (Install and Qual), ramp and develop PCDS tools in one or more processes including Silicon Photonics, EMIB, Foveros, and Foundry. This includes all control points for safety, quality, velocity, cost, people, and new technology ramp deliverables. The PCDS MGL will be a key contributing member of the area team that drives 168-hour improvement, alignment, and results. Responsibilities include maintaining tool availability and performance, cost, and improving the manufacturability of all new technology processes. The candidate will be expected to role model the factory's guiding principles and reinforce them with their team.

Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Setting priorities for the team, getting results across boundaries, ensuring an inclusive work environment, developing employees, and managing performance.

  • Plans, provides resources for, and directs activities to ensure the safety and quality of our employees while meeting schedules, standards, and costs.

  • Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.

  • Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.

  • Defines the PCDS roadmap to meet requirements, milestones, and goals for process technologies.

  • Provides guidance on employee development for both PCDS engineers and manufacturing technicians, performance, and productivity matters.


The ideal candidates should have the following behavioral traits:

  • Excellent collaboration skills across departments and organizations.

  • Contribute to organizational development by establishing business processes, standardization, and efficiency improvements.

  • Be unafraid to dive deep into understanding the PCDS technical details of the equipment and process and lead problem-solving efforts if/when needed.

  • Have a track record of innovation in the PCDS area of equipment and process.

  • Have a track record of tool installation, new process startup activities, and knowledge of ramp process and equipment needs.

  • Define and establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the PCDS module.

  • Plan and conduct experiments to improve equipment processes.

  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.

  • Be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and working hours to support business needs. Will be required to work a modified shift to cover both days and nights for either shift 4/5 (FE) or Shift 6/7 (BE) of the work week.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's or a higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical degree AND have 5+ years of experience as a process engineer and 2.5+ years of people manager experience.

  • OR candidate must have at least 10+ years of experience as a process engineer with 5+ years of people manager experience.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Planar Chemical Delivery Systems or Bulk Chemical Delivery Systems

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
