Pre-silicon Verification Engineer

In this role you will work on key IP(s) -Power management, debug or accelerator IP(s) validation for current and next gen server products.
Responsibilities include, although not limited to:
Ability to understand/co-relate the IP architecture specs to design implemented to create test plans, coverage, identify gaps in the spec documentation, debug etc for solid validation execution.
Create holistic feature testplans, testbench environment to support scoreboards, stimulus, drivers etc for power management IP(s) validation.
Develop/Utilize various tools and/or methodologies with the goal to ensure high quality IP delivery to customer.
Communicate/Coordinate effectively with validation, design and architecture teams.
Participate in the debug of customer issues, silicon sightings etc and develop new strategies to source the issues on pre-silicon models for current/next generation.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field and 4+ years of industry experience - OR -
Master's of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field and 3+ years of industry experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in verification or validation
2+ years of experience in UVM/OVM.
Preferred Qualifications:
Using scripting languages in design automation using languages such as TCL, Perl, JSON, Python.
Creating and optimizing the complex validation environment and generating focused and random test cases, analyzing coverage and debugging failure cases.
Performing IP and/or SoC functional validation.
Experience in using System Verilog and/or Jasper Gold based formal verification.
