CES Capital Senior Analyst
Job Description
This position is responsible for providing depreciation activities support to several business units. This desk partners with diverse stakeholders including fixed assets, capital analysts, operations, capacity planning and project teams, while coordinates and lead the team partners to achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
The Finance Business Analyst responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Consistently utilizes and applies financial, accounting, business and risk management strategies and concepts.
Independently evaluates accounting and reporting and recommends solutions to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting.
Plans, performs, and schedules own work with general management direction.
Assignments are delivered in the form of overall goals and expected results.
A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:
Financial Analysis / Biz Acumen: Demonstrates understanding of financial concepts and how to apply them. Independent scope and project prioritization. Identify and lead efficiency opportunities.
Collaboration, Teamwork: Is capable to independently set goals, establish deadlines, distribute responsibilities among a group of work. Identified the area for possible collaboration and lead the effort. Sought others' opinions and more than one way to succeed. Chose the right communication tool (meetings, email, etc.) to facilitate success while balance time demands of others. Meet commitments on a timely basis. Builds professional relationships based on trust, respect, and delivery of results.
Finance Technical: Identifies key information needed and articulates pros/cons considered. Considers potential Capital impacts of each feature. Acknowledges end user perception/valuation of new features. Identifies risks associated with recommended path.
Communication: Demonstrated that explaining complex issues and ideas to people who may not be as familiar with was successfully done are. Demonstrated strong communication skills and simplifying the issue while communicating the fundamental concepts, features, and benefits. Timely and concise communication either written or verbal
Problem solving and strong action orientation: Probe action orientation focus on results, able to Identify problems and root causes. Improves things when they are not working. Searches for existing solutions to problems when appropriate.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field
1+ years of relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAP.
Advanced English level.
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Previous experience in Capital or Fixed Asset Accounting Roles.
Knowledge of capital and fixed assets accounting principles, US GAAP.
Data analytics, automation, and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
