IT Product Owner - Supply Planning Data
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner to join our Supply Chain IT team. This role's main responsibility is to oversee the data requirements of Supply Planning throughout the entire development process, from conceptualization to the final stages of design. This will require gathering data requirements from various domains, creating user stories, and prioritizing the product backlog.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish, prioritize, implement, maintain, improve, and discontinue process capabilities.
- Identifies business requirements and system specifications that meet business user data requirements, maps them to systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions.
- Assesses the feasibility of an idea, understands user expectations, conducts design due diligence, and evaluates business value and risks.
- Participate in all product testing phases, from unit to user acceptance testing on the IT front.
- Ensure transformation alignment with relevant enterprise-level initiatives.
- Maintain/build stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate across teams.
- Keeps abreast of the latest process trends in demand forecasting and planning.
- Estimates effort and schedules for major projects and drives the team to meet the timelines while ensuring quality.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years OR Masters and 4 years years of experience in:
- Supply Planning, Demand Planning, P2P, and production order business processes and data solutions.
- Requirements gathering, systems/business analysis, process mapping, solution acceptance testing, and deployment.
- Designing and implementing data solutions for enterprise planning software solutions such as Blue Yonder ESP, IBP, or equivalent.
- Experience in data enablement for Supply Planning in one of these platforms: Snowflake or Azure or Databricks or similar environments
- Extensive knowledge in semi-conductor Manfacturing industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge on Statistical or AI/ML algorithms will be a plus.
- Practicing Agile methodologies.
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of business process knowledge, data and analytics skills and acumen to enable process transformation by leveraging technology.
