Job Description
Are you a visionary in memory technology? Join Intel as a Senior Principal Engineer driving DRAM architecture for DDR, LPDDR, and HBM products. In this role, you'll define and implement cutting-edge solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability across our hardware and software systems. You'll deliver end-to-end technical solutions, execute benchmark tests to solve customer problems
Role Overview: Drive DRAM architecture across Intel for DDR, LPDDR, and HBM products. Define system implementation and integration solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability across hardware and software. Deliver end-to-end technical solutions, and prepare documentation. Collaborate with other teams to analyze next-generation requirements and opportunities, influencing and guiding pathfinding and memory technology research. As a principal engineer, you will be recognized as a domain expert, driving technical direction across Intel and the industry. Develop and mentor other technical leaders, grow the community, act as a change agent, and role model Intel values. Align organizational goals with technical vision, formulate technical strategy, and demonstrate a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 12+ years of experience in the field.
- 8+ years of experience in Memory DDR/LPDDR/HBM technology with experience in memory architecture and system interface.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with physical architecture (memory modules DIMMs/CAMMs and connector technology).
- Experience with interconnect technology (printed circuit boards, package technology, high-speed signaling, power integrity).
- Expertise in power and thermal management (air and liquid cold plate).
- Experience with power delivery (VR/PMIC, power management, and system telemetry).
- Familiarity with the industry standardization process (JEDEC) and technology specification proposals.
- Understanding of different compute segment platform memory requirements (mainly bandwidth and capacity).
