As a Data Center Pre-Silicon Validation Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge data center SoC designs. Your expertise will help validate system functionality, identifying and resolving issues before they reach the market. Main Responsibilities:
- Pre-Silicon Validation: Participate in the development and verification of cutting-edge Intel products, ensuring bug-free processor platforms.
- Test Planning and Execution: Plan, develop, execute, and debug Pre-Silicon system-level test plans on FPGA/Emulation platforms.
- Validation Enablement: Play a central role in enabling various validation activities, driving the development of high-quality products before they reach customers.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or other internship experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- Enrolled in a college program and currently studying to get a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree (at least 50 percent of courses approved).
- 3+ months of combined experience in the following:
- Digital Design such as: Combinational, Synchronous (state machines) or Asynchronous.
- Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog or VHDL or System Verilog.
- One or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, or Java.
- Knowledge of Linux architecture and kernel programming concepts.
- Familiar with computer architecture and micro-controller architecture
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
- Willing to work 40h per week.
Preferred:
- Computer architectures and interfaces such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe, CXL, RAS, Accelerators, etc.
