The Cloud and Enterprise Solutions and Technology Sales Group aspires to be a high-performing, customer-first, innovative team of senior technical sales professionals within Intel Corporation Sales and Marketing, DCAI Sales Group driving Intel data-centric growth.


We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate technical sales professional who will thrive leading a diverse team of technical sales cloud solutions architect professionals in the Intel EMEA Sales Region - A person that can engage and drive a team and customer opportunities with passion, innovation, and perseverance for broad success.

In this DCAI Sales commissioned technical sales leadership role, the fortunate and successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Growing the business collaboratively with Intel edge sellers, partners, and complementary teams - exceeding all DCAI sales and OKR goals.

  • Plan, prepare, then beat the competition collectively as a team.

  • Grow and maintain a high-performing team.

  • Leading a vital cloud influence sales team for advising and driving adoption of Intel-based solutions for private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructure usage and cloud and data services at customers and partners within the region - yet thinking globally.

  • Leading professional and collaborative engagements with customers, industry partners and cross-Intel technical sellers to scale deployments of Intel cloud products, solutions, and tools, including influencing internal sellers and business unit teams.

  • Proactive participation in marketing and sales events to grow awareness and pipeline for Intel products and technologies.

  • Organizing the team for delivering training, supporting campaigns, pre-sales support, and proof of concept to deployment support to accelerate the business.

  • Achieving hands-on management expertise in cloud instance advising, benchmarking, performance analysis, and optimization techniques, using Intel and Industry tooling, and further mentoring others in their upskilling journeys in this space.

  • Be the one-voice for customer feedback on technical and business issues to remove roadblocks for growth.


A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven knowledge of the enterprise and cloud industries, from a technology vantage point.

  • Solid business acumen in the enterprise and cloud solution development and deployment

  • Proven demonstration of Intel culture, with the ability to role-model and mentor.

  • Solid understanding of Cloud hardware and software trends and solutions, including Public/Hybrid Cloud IaaS, PaaS, Containers/Function-as-a-Service, Big Data Analytics, Database, Application Middleware, HPC, AI / Machine Learning, Security, Storage and Networking

  • Ability to encapsulate customer / market feedback into the Intel business units/development teams to shape future products and technologies

  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and collaboration skills. Good relationship-building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel and the customer

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline or related experience.

  • Significant relevant experience in a technical or technical leadership role as a practitioner in cloud architecture, cloud-native application development, DevOps responsibilities, data center systems operations, or similar.

  • Industry knowledge certifications, such examples as, but not limited to: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.

  • Proven experience and understanding of architecting data center and cloud solutions for customers to solve problems or make new opportunities together.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Cloud development, deployment, and management tools, use cases, market segments, and programming models

  • Linux experience: Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, and open-source middleware implementations.

  • - Have developed and/or deployed large-scale complex software solutions on 3rd party cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

  • Practitioner-level experience with Containers and Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS/EKS, Apache Mesos, Azure Container Service, and Google Kubernetes Engine, or equivalent

  • Fluency in English and European languages

  • Understand modern application design concepts, and application refactoring/ modernization approaches

  • Previous Technical/Product/Developer manager with technical and marketing /sales

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
