Job Description
Technical sales role responsible for defining and advocating for Intel based 5G Edge Computing solutions. You will work with customers and partners on critical projects to help transform businesses and deliver industry solutions. The role provides the opportunity to engage with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), System Integrators (SIs), Developers, and Communication Service Providers (CoSPs) globally. You will provide deep technical expertise, working alongside Intel sales teams and business units to develop and accelerate adoption of solutions based on Intel product lines, software projects and technologies. This is a commissioned technical sales position within Intel's Network and Edge (NEX) Sales team. You should possess an informed understanding of the customer's business challenges and expertise on mobile, fixed and wireless technologies. A background working with OEMs, Telecom Equipment Manufacturers, ISVs and with Service Providers have made you an expert on Telco Cloud, SDN, NFVi and MEC and the technologies that underpin them. You should have a deep understanding of Cloud native development, solutions integration and deployment. Expertise in virtual Radio Access Networks projects (vRAN) would be highly advantageous. Ability to keep the bigger picture in mind and seeks out opportunities to try new things. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and other applicable regional language(s). Desire to lead and reach results through strong collaboration with colleagues worldwide and adjacent sales and technology organizations. Track record of senior-level relationships with global Comms Service Providers (CoSPs) Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Enterprise and Public Sector customers and SI/MSP partners.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. Graduate degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Sciences or related technical field is a plus. Experience building low-latency 5G Edge / MEC solutions. Experience with Linux, containers and networking Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
