Job Description
In this position you will be working with a highly motivated team of hardware and software engineers located in several sites including Hillsboro OR Santa Clara CA USA Guadalajara Mexico Bangalore India to help develop methodologies scripts etc helping with this to develop the platform interconnect design guidelines for state of the art server platforms which support the latest generations of Intel processors and chipsets You will also help Intel customers to design system products with Intel solutions Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to Responsible for the platform and board level signal integrity SI modeling and guidelines Generating and validating IBIS and HSPICE models Developing platform and board level electrical design guidelines and solutions Interacting cross function team for ensuring the proper implementation of highspeed interfaces such as UPI DDR45 PCIe4 and 5 and system SI for clocks power and others Conducting SI simulations and timing analysis and correlating simulations with system measurements Responsible for design bring up test and validate specifications and technical documentation Support external ODM partner or customer on their designs or issue debug
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Minimum qualifications Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science with 4 years of experience Or Masters Degree with 3 years of applicable experience Or PhD degree Solid verbal and written communication skills are required Preferred Qualifications Indepth understanding of transmission line theory and electromagnetic field concepts Experience in the design and analysis of highspeed digital interconnects such as PCIE DDR etc Experience with signal integrity simulation tools such as HSPICE Experience with silicon device modeling methods such as IBIS or VerilogA Experience in PCB layout review and associated tools such as Allegro or Mentor Expert with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes TDRs or VNAs Expert in fine pitch probing techniques Experience using scripting languages such as MATLAB Perl or Python for tool development

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
