Job Description

Responsible for assessment of potential markets, product life cycle planning, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, definition of promotional activities and product launch. Activities may include: technical sales support, product advertising/promotion, planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs, directing the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s). Segment Marketing Manager for Intel Foundry Services - Mobile and RF Job Description As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. About The Role As a Segment Marketing Manager for IFS, you will be part of a worldwide organization and interface directly with customers and internal partners to drive the adoption of Intel technology for foundry customers in the mobile and RF segments. We are looking for a marketing professional who can be a true customer champion to help grow revenue and expand our foundry customer base. This role requires understanding of the semiconductor bill of materials in mobile and RF devices, as well as thorough knowledge of leading mobile chip/RF chip maker's roadmaps, chip architectures and requirements. Previous experience as a segment manager at a leading-edge foundry, or as a product manager or architect at a leading fabless semiconductor company would be a great asset. Strategic thinking, data driven analytical skills, technical and business acumen, ability to present and communicate concisely and clearly are all critical requirements. Responsibilities Define mobile and RF customers in China to target for Intel Foundry Services adoption. Help to develop Intel Foundry Services strategy and specify the required solutions to win at the target customers and segments. Develop requirements for technology and enablement solutions for IFS to successfully expand into mobile and RF market segment, drive requirements into roadmaps, and promote solutions in customer engagement Partner with sales and business development teams to align on and support business goals Build and regularly update customer roadmap and TAM/SAM/SOM analysis (with business analysts) in China market Build and regularly update mid to long term IFS business demand forecast of China market Develop go-to-market plans, customer facing presentations and positioning Track customer engagements and provide long-term revenue projections The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: A Customer-First mentality. Elicit and internalize customer requirements, motivations and feedback. Communication skills to clearly and concisely communicate complex issues and technologies. Technical background to understand customer technical requirements and map to solution offering value propositions. Driven and results-oriented professional who is a self-starter who can generate and execute plans and follow through to successful outcomes. Flexible and creative, able to assess dynamic fast-changing situations and adapt as needed. A team player who can interface with multiple teams within Intel and who can successfully leverage partners to achieve key customer goals
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with business acumen/experience is required 5+ years of experience in any combination of the following: � Segment manager at a leading-edge foundry, or as a product manager or architect at a fabless semiconductor company in segments � Relationships with mobile AP or Modem and RF fabless chip companies in China � Deep understanding of mobile and RF chips addressable with advanced semiconductor technologies, and knowledge of process technologies � Understanding of foundry competitive landscape in mobile and RF applications � Demonstrated experience in strategy preparation and communication � Experience presenting to executive audiences at target customers Preferred Qualifications: � MBA or other Advanced degree. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
