Job Description
In this position you will be joining Intel DCG PAE Team as a Hardware Platform Application Engineer and will be responsible for technical enabling and support of Intel Data Centric processors Xeon SP, Xeon SoC and Customized ASIC design win and design in in Network and Communication Tier 1 customers in PRChina, i.e. ZTE/ H3C/ MNC Cisco/ Ericsson/ Nokia in PRC and valuable Tier 2 customers in 5G, Telco, Cloud and Enterprise Network. The objective is to make IA the leading architecture in both Telco OEMs and Service Providers greatly enlarge Intel processors market segment share MSS and revenue from above areas. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to Responsible for product enabling to drive architecture conversion from other architectures to achieve Design Win. � Responsible for product Design in system power on, debug and validation support of customer hardware platform designs. � Establishing a technical trusted advisor relationship with key customers. � Answering customer technical questions during the design enabling and design in phase of the platform. � Perform schematic and layout review for customer design. � Providing technical training to Customers, Intel Field Application Engineers and Distributor FAEs. � Participating in cross functional customer teams with the goal of maximizing market segment share with key customers. � Responsible for the generation and maintenance of product collateral. � Responsible for participating in Intel product related development team to feedback customers' requirements and market dynamics.
� You should possess at minimum a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with over 3 years of related Platform Hardware Design Applications Engineering and/or Intel IA Processor and Chipset Validation experience. � Additional qualifications include Fundamental understanding of Intel Architecture Processors SOC and Chipsets. � Design experience and working knowledge of Intel Architecture systems chipsets or processors. � Experience with BIOS low level programming and run time control tools i.e. ITP and SF100. � Experience with power design, board power on debug and issue analysis debug. � Experience with system debug and validation signal power integrity waveform capture and analysis etc. � Knowledge of PCIExpress, DDR4/5 memory interfaces, Intel UPI Interface, Intel Architecture Chipsets and Microprocess or Architecture. � Knowledge of platform testability architecture and tools i.e. JTAGBDSL Intel C scripts. � Knowledge of Machine Check Architecture MCA and Machine Check Error MCE analysis and debugging methodologies with the handling of related Tools. � Fundamental understanding of Intel Platform Advance Technologies is a plus, i.e. RDT SST etc. � Good verbal communication and/or technical writing skills in both Mandarin and English. � Ability to work independently and in a team environment. � Ability to travel.
