About the Role:

Intel is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for AXG (Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group). AXG serves to enable persistent and immersive computing, at scale, that is accessible by billions of people. This drives an incredible demand for compute, from endpoints to data centers. AXG delivers products and technologies designed to help our customers solve the toughest computational problems. AXG's portfolio includes CPUs for high performance computing and GPUs targeted for a range of workloads and platforms from gaming and content creation on client devices to delivering media and gaming in the cloud, and the most demanding HPC and AI workload on supercomputers. AXG is also developing customer accelerators to address new market opportunities and emerging workloads.

AXG is led by Executive Vice President, Chief Architect and General Manager Raja M. Koduri, who reports directly to Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger. He leads the expansion of Intel's leading position in integrated graphics for the PC market with discrete graphics solutions for a broad range of computing segments. He also leads differentiated IP across computing, graphics, media, imaging and machine intelligence capabilities for the client and data center segments, artificial intelligence, and emerging opportunities like edge computing. The CFO for AXG will report directly to Intel CFO David Zinsner and will partner closely with Raja Koduri.


  • Act as Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to the AXG EVP and General Manager and his staff.

  • Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization's plans and operating budgets.

  • Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability. Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.

  • Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches and/or new service offerings.

  • Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.

  • Mentor and develop the AXG Finance team, managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.

  • Build and maintain credibility with investors and financial stakeholders where appropriate.

  • 15+ years total experience in a finance-related discipline.

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance, CPA required. MBA from top tier business school preferred.

  • Experience building a trust-based relationship with a public company Board of Directors.

  • Experience being a trusted advisor with strategic influence and impact on the senior leadership team. Known for putting company first.

  • Significant experience, stature, and credibility in a complex technology-driven business. Networking industry experience preferred.

  • Proven experience in taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making to support AXG business financial path to exceed revenue and other operating goals.

  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning to accelerate the expansion of the company's position in integrated graphics for the PC and discrete graphics for a broad range of opportunities.

  • Outstanding communication, analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and communicate a powerful organizational vision, connect people with that vision, and inspire them to achieve it.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
