Within Intel's NEX Network Platforms Software organization, we are looking for a System Software Validation Intern. This internship will give you an opportunity to develop automation solutions for validating our Software products. Your tasks may include scripts development, validation, results/data analysis, troubleshooting, setting up and maintaining test/automation environments, documentation. Attention to details is an important part of this work. And if you are highly motivated to learn, with an aptitude to develop innovative solutions for complex problems, you will be a successful fit for this position.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel location and off-site.

This position is available for approximately 3 months, but may be extended in based on business needs.


Candidate must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3+ months of experience or equivalent coursework in any of the following areas:

  • Programming skills: Python.

  • Basic operational knowledge in OS: Linux or Ubuntu.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Python is a plus.

  • One or more of REST APIs /Postman, Machine Learning/NLP.

  • Familiarity with networking concepts, Kubernetes and/or Docker.

  • Test frameworks such as Robot test framework, UI automation/Cypress framework.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
