Job Description

We are building Intel's Software business, which includes a number of internal Start-Ups and non-integrated acquisitions.

This requires building the company capability to analyze Software business models and all requirements for deal management, reporting and audit. The ideal candidate can bring together multiple disciplines, including understanding of Software and Service sales, with expertise in order-to-cash revenue, experience in overseeing sales operations and deal desk, GAAP SaaS ASC 606 Revenue expert, with hands on experience in implementing Finance transformation programs, financial systems, with deep understanding of revenue recognition accounting operations, including its supporting systems.


  • Review new business models and related sales arrangements. Map out standard transactions, and systems to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP and internal policies.

  • Collaborate with IT, Finance and Sales leadership to effectively coordinate and manage the Software and services transactional models, and its required cycles for deal forecast, monthly reporting and quarter end reporting.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal, marketing, sales, finance and cross-functional product and services teams to streamline best practices

  • Skilled in hands-on exposure with GAAP Revenue operations processes, pricing models, SSP, financial reporting, including deferrals, contract assets and liabilities.

  • Experienced in quantitative and statistical analysis with marketing metrics, ROI metrics, sales forecasting, sales quota, and finance exposure Proficiency in contract management, analyzes contract financial data from sub-systems reconciles, ensuring data accuracy within system

  • GAAP and IFRS 15 with proficiency in revenue reporting, sales operations reporting, revenue forecasting.

  • Ability to work cross functionally within the organization, such as with marketing, deal desk, sales operations, corporate controller, accounting and accounting policy.

  • Responsible for measuring and assessing acquisition integration in alignment with marketing programs, sales lead life cycle, management reporting to provide full transparency of the process

  • Responsible to develop and process software sales projections, support the deal structuring and pricing support for large enterprise customers

  • Lead a weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting sales report cadence for the software business, including reporting and alignment with C-Suite, Sales and Marketing leadership

  • Understands SOX and GAAP compliance in revenue recognition, and draft supporting policies ensuring compliance and in alignment with company policy

  • Understanding Month-end close procedures relating to Revenue, deferrals, accounts receivable, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, quote-to-cash processes

  • Performed contract analysis review, applied judgement and critical thinking to ensure subscription and services contracts have been accounted for correctly under ASC 606

  • Proven experience in developing and streamline revenue accounting operations, including revenue recognition technical memos execution, according to US GAAP

  • Experienced in Audit, managing schedules and deliverables, working with big 4 external auditors

  • Oversee full-cycle GAAP accounts receivable operations billing, cash receipts, credit cards processing, invoicing, collections, including lead accounts receivable team

  • Meticulous attention to detail, A keen focus on scale, end-to-end automation, and evolving processes for scale and efficiency

  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and project management skills to drive process efficiencies

  • Provide ongoing revenue reconciliation, analysis, and ad-hoc support cross-functionally



  • Minimum 10 years of experience in full-cycle GAAP Revenue Accounting / Finance transformation projects

  • Technical Accounting Authority in SaaS Tech ASC 606 and all technical revenue operations, with expertise in order-to-cash revenue

  • Knowledge in overseeing Sales Operations and Deal Desk environments, in conjunction with Revenue operations

  • BA Accounting or Bus Admin or similar, CPA, with public Accounting, (Big 4) a plus

  • Strategic Partner to C-Suite, with proven experience driving and streamline scalable process improvements within revenue recognition

  • Experience in working in hyper-growth SaaS Tech Startup environments, with quantitative and problem-solving skills

  • Solid leadership with over 5+ years of experience, to mentor, train, and lead team of 4, with scalable ability to grow revenue team

  • Able to wear many hats, flexible, nimble, thrives in fast-paced environments, highly organized and detailed, in a highly collaborative team

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:$169,070.00-$270,350.00

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
