Job Description

Intel AXG Architecture team is looking for a passionate and driven individual to help define and build the next generation of GPU Architectures. In this position, you will develop and analyze architecture and micro-architecture options for the GPU Compute and/or Memory clusters, including thread dispatch, Execution Unit instruction set, the load/store/cache subsystem, and the GPU memory fabric. You will work closely with senior architects and micro-architects and be exposed to the overall architecture of the GPU, and the Client and Server platforms in which it resides.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure the Compute and Memory IP clusters have the best features, performance and power for both client and server GPU systems.
* Research and develop the of next generation of HW and SW designs to continually improve the computational features and performance.

Minimum skills and experience: Candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with 15+ years of experience. OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience. OR a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience: Your experience should be in the following: Computer OR Graphics OR Memory sub-system development (HW or SW) Computer OR Graphics OR Memory sub-system Architecture OR Microarchitecture Preferred skills and experience: Experience in parallel programming SW development skills in C++, or similar high-level language HW/SW modeling and simulation

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
