Responsibilities may be quite diverse, depending on the unique needs of the programs.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Lead a small matrixed, cross-functional team contained within a larger organization that is directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology/products for external customers. The cross functional, matrixed team consists of individual contributors and guides the performance of functional teams.

  • Manage projects/programs where decisions can potentially affect multiple business critical projects through all phases of the lifecycle.

  • Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Have decision-making authority at the program level.

  • Set direction for programs by determining and considering the business impact of project decisions.

  • Be the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally.

  • Exercise judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles, and re-define approaches.

  • Oversee the identification of tasks, research, dependencies, and costs.- Communicate expectations to core team members and stakeholders.

  • Assess risks and identify solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.

  • Ensure that quality standards and budget constraints are met.

  • Ensure appropriate progress is achieved against scheduled milestones.

  • Prioritize the utilization of resources with other functions.

  • May have a basic understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and/or disciplines associated with the defined program.

Join an evolving Intel Server Firmware DevOps Release management team, where you will be involved in all aspects of the product development life cycle from requirements to release notes. Work with a growing release management team to plan and execute complex delivery schedules. Gather metrics and requirements to drive critical business decisions and release roadmaps. Build relationships across cross functional teams and stakeholders to gain alignment on key initiatives and deliverables. Plan and execute sprints using industry standard tools and platforms including Confluence and JIRA. Be a part of something great.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other science/engineering related field with 4+ years of experience - OR- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other science/engineering related field with 3+ years of experience in:

  • Working with at least one scripting or compiled language.

  • Software development tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or CI/CD tools.

  • Project Management skills in developing schedules and tracking milestones.

  • Project planning, road mapping, and presentation tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio, eazyBI, Big Picture, etc.

  • Agile software issue management and ALM tools such as JIRA, Confluence.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/Experience in one or more scripting or compiled languages including Java, C++, Golang, Perl, Python, or Bash/Shell.

  • Version control platforms - GitHub, GitLab, or similar.

  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and/or Travis CI.

  • Configuration management tools - Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.

  • Static Code Analysis/Code Coverage tools - SonarQube, BullsEye, Klocwork, or similar.

  • Familiarity with application development using REST APIs or similar APIs and automation workflows.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
