As an EDA Software Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to:

Member of a Design Automation team providing tool/flow/methodology support to Intel analog circuit design teams. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and deploying custom design and verification flows and techniques to enable design teams in Intel.

You are also responsible for:

  • Tool, flow and methodology deployment for the design of Analog and Mixed Signal IPs on leading Intel processes

  • Provide Design Automation support and training to design teams across business units and Intel sites

  • Act as interface between analog design customers and external EDA vendors.

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Willing to work in a multi-site team environment

This position is hybrid at the Santa Clara, CA or Hillsboro, OR Intel sites during the 20-week Returnship program.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years experience in:

  • Analog/custom circuit design tools. (ex. Netlisting, circuit simulation, extraction, reliability/timing/layout verification, or layout editing)

  • Programming and scripting (ex. C++, SKILL, or Python/PERL/TCL)

  • Candidates must have been out of the workforce for at least 2 years

This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
