Product Development Engineer

Join our Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) team as a Product Development Engineer, where you will be responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. In this role, you will make significant contributions to design, development, and validation of testability circuits.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Evaluate, develop, and debug complex test methods.
Develop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
Create and test validation and production test hardware solutions.
Test, validate, modify, and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability, with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 3 years industry related work experience or
Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2 years industry related work experience.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with development and debug functional.
3+ years of experience with pre-silicon validation of test content, including test writing and simulating.
3+ years of experience with post-silicon testing debug using Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Scan test for FPGA to support component debug, validation, characterization, and production test.
Experience with DFT, hardware testing methods and tools.
Experience with manufacturing flow.
Experience with Python scripting or C programming.
Experience in Digital, Analog, Mixed signal DSP (digital signal processing), High Speed, and RF (radio frequency) testing.
