The mission of the Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is to drive the future for FPGAs and Structured ASICs technology/solutions around the globe.

Within the Cloud and Enterprise Acceleration Division, you will be surrounded by some of the brightest minds/engineers in the world as we are responsible for delivering success with innovative data center platforms utilizing FPGAs.

As a Strategic Business Development director, you will be focused on leading a team of business development managers to drive the application acceleration business portfolio using FPGAs in cloud and enterprise data centers and research institutions. In this position you will need to uncover the application acceleration needs of end customers in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), HPC, financial services, and blockchain applications, and work with many groups across the company to develop a One Intel strategy to enable growth in these exciting and growing markets.

Responsibilities include creating and committing to long range business plans, leading the establishment and oversight of go to market strategies across all sub-segments, developing and negotiating statements of work, cultivating relationships with third parties, constructing and negotiating contracts and license agreements, and other business functions as necessary to achieve growth in these important segments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Business Management with 12+ years of experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in partnering across a technical organization with proven leadership skills.
    5+ years of  have experience working with customers and partners in more than one of the following application acceleration domains: AI/ML, Genomics, Financial Services, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency Mining, High Performance Computing (HPC), Containerized Hardware Microservices and FPGA-as-a-Service (FaaS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of FPGA technology and key foundational IP: Serdes, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR memory controllers, CXL.
    Advanced degrees (MSEE, MBA) are a strong plus.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
