FPGA Systems Design Engineer

PSG continues to deliver industry-leading FPGA solutions to customers and our team is responsible for the technical enablement of customer applications in embedded and defense segments. Intel Federal Labs and Intel's SSE team is searching for talented and innovative FPGA Systems Design Engineers collaboratively focused research, design, and development to advance novel and exciting solutions to government facing problems leveraging Intel's latest and high-performance tools.
As a FPGA Systems Design Engineer, you will work and collaborate in a rapid learning environment alongside industry experts to architect, design, and optimize FPGA-centric systems. The focus would be on Defense and Government applications. Technical development will be varied including RTL design, Software, Digital Signal Processing, and algorithm implementation with High-Level Synthesis. Full lifecycle development including design, verification, and HW debugging. The successful candidate will be proven to architect complex systems and map them efficiently to FPGA-based platforms.

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 4 or more years of industry work experience, or
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 3 or more years of industry work experience.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
3 plus years of experience with FPGA design using RTL, Verilog, or VHDL.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Quartus Prime, ADC/DAC, RF Signal Processing, Matlab/Simulink, C/C++.
