Job Description

The DMO Product Development Power/Performance Engineer will be responsible for but no limited to:

  • Strategic engage with Business Unit to drive SKU stack definition to meet wafer utilization requirements.

  • Complete Line Item Risk Assessment activities to ensure a viable supply for manufacturability.

  • Provide Power/Performance guidance to the fabs and monitor performance vs expectations.

  • Proactively identify and communicate supply risk and take appropriate actions to ensure Intel's ability to meet or exceed customer needs.

  • Lead and drive analysis to improve Intel SKU supply.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Ability to influence, lead teams across a very wide spectrum of organizations. Leading and setting direction for Cross Functional Power and Performance targeting to optimize manufacturability for a market segment or multiple die types.

  • Setting the overall direction for the entire program and handle high level management forums with little or no supervision (e.g. Output Max).

  • Self-initiative, driven, and inquisitive personality.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to summarize and clearly convey complex technical issues and associated risks to supply to a wide range of audience.


Minimum Qualifications:
Masters' degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience in:

  • Fundamental understanding of device physics relating to Frequency/Leakage/Power.

  • Understanding of databases, data extraction, and analysis techniques.

  • Statistical modeling techniques.

  • Experience and understanding of Product Development and manufacturing's role in delivering qualified products into High Volume Manufacturing.

  • Excellent data analytics skills with ability to automate task with a computer programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Intel SKU Specs, key Binsplit limiters, and process knobs that can influence them.

  • Computer programming background in JSL, Python, SQL Pathfinder, or SQL is helpful in job role.

  • Manufacturing silicon wafers, statistical modeling, yield and process knowledge, root cause analysis, SORT, E-test, and back end data analysis.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
