The ATTD/SPTD Factory Infrastructure and Business Operations team manages the Facilities, Construction, and Environmental teams to enable ATTD factory network to construct and ramp new sites for future capacity strategy. This position will sit on SPTD FI and BO Staff as Manager of Environmental Strategy for ATTD.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive ATTD's strategy for regulatory compliance and industry leadership across Environmental workstreams. Intel has a solid history of positive action in reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and is committed to further reduce its direct and indirect footprint and develop green technology solutions for the digital world.
  • Serve as a critical leader to define the roadmap to increase the energy efficiency and lower the total carbon footprint of Intel products and platforms, and to work with customers and industry partners to create solutions that lower the footprint of the entire ecosystem.
  • Develop the technical roadmap for new factories and new facilities to meet LEED standards in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
  • Collaborate across key external stakeholders, government agency, and industry consortiums.
  • Partner with stakeholders Internal to Intel-EHS, Corporate Services, Fab Construction, Manufacturing, and Technology Development to design and execute Intel strategy.
  • Drive supply chain initiatives with our suppliers to guide efforts to reduce the total chemical footprint, to maximize opportunities to better reuse, recycle and refurbish materials, and transition our industry to a net-zero greenhouse gas semiconductor value chain.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

  • 8+ years of experience leading and setting priorities for complex organizations. International/worldwide team experience a plus.
  • Keen research understanding of environmental landscape and be able to lead cross-functional teams to resolve ongoing challenges and march towards a meeting Intel's sustainable roadmap.
  • Bridge the gap between pathfinding decisions and their impact on future technology development activities through seamless integration.
  • Comprehend factory scaling impacts and quantify and define comprehensive scaled targets.
  • Leverage solid analytical and insightful business analysis to work with Intel and Industry leaders to influence decisions.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication. Demonstrated ability to present complex technical and financial topics to senior managers and leaders, as well as government/industry stakeholders.
  • Influence GM level customers and report progress to ELT level management.
  • Influence the organization to continually reevaluate and improve the methodologies, systems, and business processes to improve execution and measure results, while supporting cross-industry research and development.
  • Demonstrate organizational and emotional intelligence to understand how work is completed, how to remove roadblocks where bandwidth is challenged, and quickly react before problems arise.
  • Demonstrated results and accountability for broad leadership, building of followership and role modeling of Intel's cultural attributes of Customer First, One Intel, Fearless Innovation, Results Driven, Inclusion, Integrity, and Quality.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences .

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (9+ years' experience) or Master's (6+ years' experience) or PHD (4+ years' experience) in Engineering or STEM or similar field, experience in an environmental role in semiconductor industry, including semiconductor manufacturing, and/or site regulatory permitting.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
