Job Description

NAND Design, Technology and Manufacturing (NDTM) is the global organization responsible for product engineering, technology development, manufacturing, and manufacturing support for Intel's NAND memory and storage business. The NDTM HRD role is a key strategic partner responsible driving HR strategy in alignment with business objectives in partnership with the NDTM GM. This role orchestrates HR plan execution by managing an HR Team and by partnering with the Centers of Excellence account team. It requires managing multiple stakeholders to drive sustainable solutions.

The NDTM HRD works closely with senior executive management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit level. The NDTM HRD will work closely with HR partners within Intel's Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations (MSO) organization, and will provide strategic oversight to the Dalian Business HR team. Intel and SK Hynix have an agreement for SK Hynix to acquire Intel's NAND memory and storage business, and Intel will continue to manufacture NAND wafers until the final closing expected to occur in March 2025 (Phase 2).

The NDTM HRD will lead and work closely with the NDTM leadership team throughout the Phase 2 transition. The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic advisor and thought partner for the senior leadership teams within NDTM.
  • Build strong business leader relationships for service, influencing and coaching.
  • Manage an HR team to drive business solutions, key employee relations and Organizational Development activities.
  • Leverage centers of excellence (COE) account teams to deliver specific HR Solutions for NDTM.
  • Build business acumen, design, and develop HR plans to enable NDTM strategy.
  • Apply general employee relations, org development, learning, diversity, labor relations and HR processes in the business group, function, and regions/geographies in service of employees, managers, and the business.

  • Org Development and Systems Thinking: Able to assess an organization using appropriate org diagnosis methodologies.
  • Influence and Communication skills: influence senior business and HR leaders in large corporate environment internationally. Demonstrated credibility and skills to influence and partner with functions across HR.
  • Systems and Analytical Thinking: connect seemingly disparate information and stitch it together in a coherent set of considerations and actions to be taken. Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness. Strong expertise in problem solving and developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics.
  • HR and Industry acumen: HR subject matter knowledge in areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development/Management, Workforce Diversity, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Succession Planning. Up to date knowledge of industry trends and best practices with focus on emerging trends on talent development and the future of work.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

  • Business and Strategic Acumen: understanding of business, how profitability is achieved, who the business serves, how the business differentiates in the market and industry to give context to HR policy and practices to drive required Intel capabilities.
  • HR Acumen and Collaboration: Understands and appropriately applies HR solutions, guidelines, policies, and underlying philosophies.
  • Employment/labor law and policy acumen: to problem solve and coach employees and managers.
  • Influence/coaching capability: Influence and coach managers to drive higher engagement and performance.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of direct HR Experience OR,
  • Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, or related field with 10+ years of related experience OR,
  • Master of Science degree, a Master of Arts degree, or an M.B.A. with 5+ years of related experience.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
