Job DescriptionBe part of the System Solutions Engineering team specialize in developing video IP and solutions that are used in exciting products serving the Broadcast, Pro-AV, Medical and many other market segments. Be at the forefront of innovation by working on the leading edge technology in next generation video solution. This position responsibilities include (but not limited to): - Participate in design development tasks throughout the IP development phase. - Co-develop tools and scripts to enhance IP development flow. - Create tests, assertions and coverage goals based on test plan to verify the implementation. - Write directed and random test cases, debugging failures, filing and closing bugs. - Develop testbench components. - Review verification results against the coverage goals. Analyze and strategize methods to achieve coverage metrics. - Learn and apply advanced techniques to achieve verification with the highest quality, productivity, and time-to-market.Qualifications- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent), with excellent results - Strong hardware design skills (Verilog or VHDL), with understanding of underlying FPGA structure - Good understanding of timing closure techniques - Able to set own goals and deliver output to a high standard - Good interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to apply sound judgement - Good problem solving skills - Strong team working skills - Good understanding of digital circuit design is a plus. - Good understanding of video technologies is a plus. - Experience of C/C++ programming for PC systems and/or embedded applications is desirableInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
