Job Description

Responsible for the P4 software validation including test development, test debugging, infrastructure enabling and maintaining the software release quality. Your specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Developing and writing test cases for FPGA P4 tests including all of the FPGA P4 APIs is conforming to the required functionality, benchmarking, installation and ensure the product release meeting the quality release requirements. May work directly with software P4 team including the compiler team to validate the product release. Performing KPI testing to make sure that the api are meeting the needed performance. Ensuring that the release package level testing is performed to meet the required P4 program level milestones and the required test coverage at each milestone. Able to apply shift left methodologies to develop test coverage earlier such as simulation and emulation. Provide program level update to the greater P4 FPGA development team. Technical leadership is expected to support a culture of idea generation, proliferation and innovative solutions to complex problems.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Masters or PhD degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science

- Experience in Software/firmware verification/validation including system software.

- Experience in network validation specifically the lower level network software stack (OSI layers) validation. Experience with P4 language and compilers would be a plus.

- Solid experience in C/C++

- Experienced with scripting language such as Python/Perl/TCL/shell scripts and OS such as Windows/Linux.

- Experienced using advanced system design and validation methodologies and technologies such as FPGA prototyping, emulation, simulation and co-emulation.

- Experience in network acceleration or storage acceleration

- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication skills, initiative, promote innovation and teamwork. Self-motivated and ability to excel in a team environment.

- Demonstrates fundamental values such as accountability, integrity, a winning mindset and highly motivated to learn or adapt to fast changing environments.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
