Job Description
The successful candidate will bring architecture solutions experience for Data Center and/or Communications Networking and/or Wireless, ideally covering both hardware and software, with knowledge of FPGA architecture, transceiver architecture and higher-level protocols such as JESD204B and JESD204C. Ideally the candidate will have experience implementing designs in FPGA and/or ASIC. You will work with silicon architects, design tool, and other IP architects to define and influence new FPGA product development and drive delivery of holistic customer solutions that meet market requirements and capabilities, comprising silicon, soft IP, applications SW, and tools support. You will participate in cross functional teams and be responsible for authoring aligned architecture specification documents for the FPGA IP solutions, calling out standards requirements. You will also work closely with IP and platform implementation teams on the creation of IP blocks, solutions, and customer designs to enable those capabilities.
Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is seeking a technology leader for the role of IP Solution Architect for the IP and Solution Engineering Organization. The candidate is responsible for defining the overall architecture and execution of IP architecture, in particular the JESD204B, JESD204C and the emerging JESD204D standard that enables a competitive end to end solution for that IP. This includes defining the right feature set, right architecture that meets the feature requirements including power and performance. The candidate will work closely with IP Planning, Business Divisions, Post Silicon Validation team, Hardware Engineering team, customers and CTO Office to define the future of FPGA IP architectures to realize the objectives. This person will also optimize and leverage Intel's portfolio of IP solutions for PSG roadmap to address various platforms: Communications, Data Center, Security, Cloud and Deep learning business segments. Key Objectives and Responsibilities: � Technical lead for the JESD204B/C/D domain. � Evaluate investments to drive technology and IP development based on business segments use cases. � Work seamlessly with Architects in partnering organizations to develop the most efficient vertical solutions � Work with customers to address their current needs as well as strategic engagement discussions for future roadmap � Work with industry and academia to influence roadmap of future Programmable architecture. Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
