Job Description
As the FPGA FAFI manager for PSG QRE, your primary role is to grow and develop the PSG QRE FAFI team in Penang, Malaysia to drive debug and resolution of FPGA product issues. As a team/people manager, you will drive and get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive and collaborative work environment for a diverse and dynamic team, and manage performance to maximize results and output.Primary team deliverables (root cause analysis, FA/8D reports, design/test/process improvement feedback) will drive ongoing product quality improvement through key learnings and performance indicators. Your team deliverables are crucial in meeting customer product quality and support requirements, while partnering with internal stakeholders for quality system integration, feature rollout, and FA readiness planning for new/upcoming FPGA products. Other key strategic roles for the FAFI Team manager working with internal stakeholders include resource/cost/schedule planning and cross-functional/organizational initiatives.Direct customer support, both internal and external, will be expected in your role for both PSG customers and other Intel business units. As the team manager, your roles will also include technical leadership and resolution of critical product quality issues, closely working and partnering with key stakeholders, directing technical debug and resolution strategy across all levels of the organization. Your work will also include partnering with account teams to periodically meet with customers for both strategic and tactical discussions related to FPGA component FA.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: � University BS/BA degree in Engineering: electrical/electronics, computer, hardware/systems, or similar� 7 years of technical industry experience in semiconductor/electronics/computer field or similar, with focus on failure analysis and fault isolation of semiconductor products� Past experience managing technical personnel: intern/coop/technician level� Strong attention to detail and numerical analysis skills for cost, scheduling, resourcing� Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written/presentation - demonstrated across multiple organization levels, from technical low-level to executive summary-level� Demonstrated ability to work across department boundaries in resolving technical obstacles and challenges, building alignment and consensus agreementPreferred Qualifications:� University MS/MA degree in Engineering: electrical/electronics, computer, hardware/systems, or similar� 10+ years of technical industry experience in semiconductor/electronics/computer field or similar, with focus on failure analysis and fault isolation of FPGA/ASIC/CPU/DSP products� Past experience managing technical personnel: college graduate level or beyond� Demonstrated program/project management capability and experience, as a project/program lead or in cross-functional environment� Strong attention to detail and numerical analysis skills for cost, scheduling, resourcing, with past demonstrated experience building budget forecast models and headcount plans� Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written/presentation - demonstrated across multiple organization levels, from technical low-level to executive summary-level� Demonstrated ability to work across department boundaries in resolving technical and organizational obstacles and challenges, building alignment and consensus agreement� Experience meeting directly with end-customers as a primary presenter and factory representative, covering and addressing technical semiconductor FAFI related topics

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
