Job DescriptionAs the Factory Applications Engineering Manager in the Customer Experience Group of Programmable Solutions Group, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience to our customers and partners by understanding, anticipating and satisfying their needs, so that we inspire innovation, accelerate customer success and grow revenue. You will lead a team of Factory Applications Engineers with the focus areas of FPGA EMIF, IO, power and core fabric. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Representing customer voice in influencing internal teams to continuously improve quality, usability and debuggability of our products - Developing customer-facing deliverables (technical collateral, reference designs, demos, trainings) - Ensuring product readiness from quality and usability perspective - Managing strategic customer engagements - Providing best-in-class technical support to resolve issues escalated to FactoryQualifications- BS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience in semi-conductor industry - Experience in people management and organization development - Able to work with cross-functional teams to drive technical/strategic discussions and determine necessary solutions - Excellent written/verbal communication skills - Good technical skill in EMIF, I/O, Embedded Memory, CPLD, PLL, BSDL, Power or general FPGA applications is an advantage - Experience in engaging/enabling/supporting customers is a strong plusInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
