Intel has announced a major expansion of Intel's production capacities in Europe and plans to develop two first-of-their-kind semiconductor fabs in Magdeburg, Germany, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. Planning has started, with construction expected to begin in the first half of 2023 and production planned to come online in 2027, subject to European Commission State aid approval and funding approval by the German authorities.

We lead the semiconductor industry by creating innovative technologies. We are currently looking for: Logistics Capabilities Team Senior Administrative Partner.

Duties include:

  • Strong calendar management with shifting priorities and deadlines, booking complex domestic/international travel, managing travel details such as visas, welcome letters and managing expenses.

  • Quick and accurate assessment of the phone calls, emails and documents importance, and taking action to involve the appropriate parties.

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail while taking the initiative to manage logistics of the department/division such as maintaining divisional organizational charts, phone distribution lists and divisional logistics needs.

  • Working with all Microsoft tools, Intel tools, purchasing and finance systems. Supporting office administration with associated tasks (ordering office supplies, food orders, onsite needs).

  • Assisting in coordinating activities across the organization, events, conferences, F2Fs, etc.: planning and organizing meetings and offsites, preparing agendas and coordinating all logistics.

  • Additionally, managing tactical projects, general administrative duties such as order supplies, CR coordination, generating shipping memo, etc.

  • Working professionally with other Senior and Executive admins to help facilitate timely and accurate planning needs.

  • Coordinating activities to ensure department goals are met, effectively mentoring and integrating new admins and ensuring all admins understand department procedures and expectations.


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a High School diploma.

  • 5+ years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant supporting multiple staff.

  • Fluent German Speaker.

  • Candidate must be willing to relocate to Magdeburg.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Working experience with tools like Shopping at Intel, Workday, Concur, MS Teams SharePoint and Yammer.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Final location is Magdeburg site. Interim location of this role is Home Based Office until office premises will be available, ETA: Q4 2022.
