Job Description

Member of the IT Personal Smart Devices team delivering Cellular Services across the globe for Intel.

The successful candidate should have the ability to develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and with external suppliers globally. They will manage operational activities and act as a leader in shaping the future of the cellular services at Intel. It is an exciting role, with opportunities to get exposure to new technologies including 5G, Mobile Private Networks, new mobile devices and applications. The role has excellent learning opportunities and potential for growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with the support team to ensure day to day cellular services are operational
Support Phone selection for Intel globally and Availability in the IT Device Market
Facilitate / manage service escalations with appropriate stakeholders
Manage creating and maintaining cellular device and usage policies
Manage Cellular Infrastructure Projects
Support Merger / Acquisition / Divestiture projects.
Supplier Management - Regular meetings with Carriers to review Service Performance; Coordinate Projects and Address Service Issues
Partner with suppliers providing Telecom Expense Management supporting 30m+ spend per year
Partner with Strategic Procurement to manage Contract Renewals with our Cellular Carriers
Partner with suppliers on emerging cellular technologies and Proof of Concepts
Role incorporates aspects of IT Operations Management, Project Management and Product Owner roles.

Project Management Skills:
Manages projects of moderate scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity that are focused on development, implementation or upgrade of internal customers' technology, products or processes. This may provide secondary or indirect support of customer product. Plans/manages projects directly related to corporate policies or general business operations to meet specific objectives or general goals. Has decision making authority at the project level. Leads the project team and is key interface to the project or contributors. Identifies and refines project objectives. Works on or delegates, as appropriate, problems/tasks in delivery of specific objectives or general goals. Develops solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion. Interprets and applies controlling business strategies or corporate policies and deviates as judged appropriate. Identifies tasks and research, determines dependencies, assesses costs, and identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members. Creates/tracks/adjusts the project or program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining quality standards. Monitors progress against schedule and determines and takes remedial action as appropriate. Coordinates and prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. Plans and schedules work ensure the completion of intermediate milestones and overall project or program in timely manner. Influence or set business unit or crossorganizational strategy.


Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT Disciple preferred.
Experience: 10+ years IT experience in IT Project Management, Supplier Engagement, Stakeholder Management.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
