CS Central Engineering (CSCE) owns the strategic and systematic development, standardization, implementation, and measurement of key central engineering functions to drive efficiency, reliability, and world class cost optimization to support our global facilities portfolio. The scope of the Central Engineering Organization within Corporate Serviced consists of asset management, cost engineering, enabling growth, and automation.

Central Engineering - Automation team is looking for a creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial IoT Solution Integrator to take the consultative lead for the technical design and delivery of Intel's CS CE Automation managed IoT solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers working with real-world complex systems to help our clients maximize equipment uptime, avoid interruption to production, reduce costs, and make more informed decisions.

As an CSCE-A Industrial IoT Solution Integrator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Spearhead development of the IoT vision and technical strategy. Design an end-to-end IoT architecture. Identify and implement IoT opportunities to achieve the lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.

  • Responsible for defining, developing, and delivering on the IoT project scope overseeing resources allocations, and managing budgets. Oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment and facilities systems, as required to support IoT business requirements.

  • Define design criteria, lead scope definition and justification, develop design concepts, and oversee completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design.

  • Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured, and project budgets are met.

  • Improve standards and drive innovative solutions.

  • Collaborate and engage with CS technology groups to understand their needs, establish ROI, and deliver value-add.

  • Validate all proposed solutions with the CSCE IoT working group and InfoSec architects.

  • Liaise with key partners, promptly request information, answer their questions, raise risk opportunely, and participate in planning sessions and high-level detail assessments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study with 3+ years of experience

  • Experience with the design and delivery of Industrial IoT / IC Solutions.

  • Ability to communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees, from engineering peers to operational technicians to management.

  • Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction and as part of a larger team.

  • A proactive, innovative, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and an ability to think critically and independently, work as part of a cross-functional team and communicate clearly to provide insights based on analysis outputs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the IoT architecture components.

  • Knowledge of data communication, network, software application, and web-based architectures.

  • Knowledge of radio technology (LoRa, 5G, WiFi etc.), understanding of communication protocols (MQTT).

  • Experience in cleanroom HVAC, facilities exhaust, chillers, boilers and compressor systems, ultrapure water or wastewater treatment, pumps, valves, flow calculations, vibration analysis and chemical analytical testing.

  • Understand the Intel CS processes in a greenfield or conversion site - From commissioning to white paper to full sustaining.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
