As a Ramp Support Coordinator (RSC) you responsible to ensure smooth execution of Supporting Items deliveries and Conversion Procurement Activities for all VF/TD sites. In this position, you will be part of the Procurement Ramp Operations (PRO) team and will serve as the liaison between the stakeholders in the factory (Industrial Engineers, area coordinators, tool owners, finance, logistics, warehouse), with Suppliers and various GSEM organizations to ensure factory requirements are adequately supported and strong relationship between Intel and suppliers is in place.

As a Ramp Support Coordinator in Procurement and Ramp Operations organization you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring proactive communication and alignment between the sites and relevant suppliers to secure capacity and protect factory ramp strategies
  • Addressing issues, escalating, and communicating to all stakeholders for Supporting items Order, and Delivery issues. Leading Task Forces needed to solve gaps and ensure no impact to sites ramps
  • Managing suppliers to proactively avoid delivery gaps and solving existing issues independently
  • Track and solve suppliers performance issues
  • Collaborating across the supply chain to resolve all delivery escalations and ensuring on-time conversion and install activities
  • Support cost saving initiatives ensuring excess items get re-allocated and use to fill future sites needs (both for Conversion and Supporting items)
  • Coordinating all Conversion Items procurement execution including change management, ensuring right ordering method is used, accurate items get ordered and delivered to the sites. Highlight gaps and drive for resolution
  • Effective Procurement Execution of approved upgrades for all sites
  • Driving process and system improvements to enable multiple, overlapping ramps spread across the globe
  • Reporting to factories management on issues and help needed
  • Building strong relationships (GSEM organization, TD (Tech Development), HVM (High Volume Mfg),TMGSP, Finance) to support factory needs
  • Develop healthy relations with suppliers to ensure long-term success to Intel's ramps
  • Coordinates purchasing activities such as generating/managing/reconciling forecasts and schedules.
  • Ensuring all steps of the Supporting Items delivery management execution is smooth, from PR approval to Item ready for user (PO is properly placed, manage change orders, ensure logistics aspects are addressed, timely and accurate receiving in WH, manage exceptions, etc.). Working to streamline processes and systems
  • Ensure on-going alignment with CCM's on escalations and support needed for OEM suppliers
  • Contribute to the development of a Web solution to control all the aspects of the Supporting Items management


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field of study with 1+ years of experience in:
  • Supply Chain
  • Project/Program Management
  • Suppliers Management
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with suppliers and Intel teams
  • Understanding of Intel's factory ramps planning and execution
  • Understanding of Intel's capacity and re-use business processes including conversions and upgrades

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
