Intel Manufacturing Supply Operations (MSO) Automation group, which is responsible for the digital transformation of Intel's high-volume manufacturing (HVM) factories and support organizations through innovation, enhancement, as well as enabling digital and analytics capabilities, has an exciting opportunity available to lead a new data transformation team as a Foundry HVM Data and Analytics Director. In this role, you will manage a team of world-class data and analytical engineers along with advanced systems and tools, and report to the Vice President and GM of MSO Automation group.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining strategy and leading the delivery of end-to-end digital systems and analytics for Foundry operations in HVM
  • Planning, staffing and development of a talented team of data experts
  • Collaborating with a broad global team of system experts
  • Establishing a strong trusting relationship with Foundry operations
  • Define/refine data engineering functionalities, including data ingestion, data preparation, data transformation, data exploration, data analysis, insight generation etc.
  • Overseeing the work of your department, ensuring its accuracy
  • Keeping up to speed on foundry industry trends in data and analytics, advocating and driving improvements where needed You must have demonstrated a track record of excellence in creative problem solving, automation capability enabling, or manufacturing data analytics in a relevant engineering organization. Direct people management experience is required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS PhD in a STEM field
  • 10+ years of experience in a semiconductor process development and manufacturing foundry environment
  • Passion for and experience in data systems, data processing and analytics
  • 5-10 years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in a STEM field
  • Complex stakeholder management, both internal and external to the company
  • Experience in AL/ML analytics
  • Experience in managing global teams
  • Direct clean room experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
