Corporate Services Learning and Development provides training solutions to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) as well as to security, construction and technical support systems. As a technical writing student, you will support CS Facilities in the Future project by developing and supporting content creation for various CS preventive maintenance operations.
You will work closely with CS technical teams to understand their various tasks and build solutions that will help them manage their operations as well as convert these written tasks into dedicated Augmented reality (AR) guides.
You will also be required to work closely with an Instructional Designer and other members of the CS LD team to convert technical documents into step-by-step, conversational text.
Other duties may include editing short how-to videos, annotating and editing photos, all for inclusion in AR guides, to enhance the learning and performance capabilities of our technician community.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Converting technical documents into conversational, step-by-step guides used in an Augmented Reality (AR) platform.
Create AR storyboards from technical documents.
Create AR Guides from a storyboard.
Ability to read specs/docs (engineering), edit video, annotate photos.
Analyze procedures for quality and optimize the best ways to deliver content
Write and maintain technical content and software system documentation
Collaborate with Technical teams/instructional designers/customers/training teams/project/program managers and other roles domestically and internationally to imagine, build, and launch successful AR training solutions
Work independently with ownership over the Guide content creation
Ensure scalable AR solutions that integrate with Intel's training systems


2nd year BSc Student in Training development /Industrial engineering/Communication/Computer information systems.

Must have some technical/mechanical/tools/system background
At least 2 years until graduation. Ability to work min. of 20 hours per week. (2.5 days a week) (option to work up to 100 position)
Knowledge of storyboarding/storytelling is essential

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
