Job Description
The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Solidigm is a leading global supplier of NAND flash memory solutions, led by Robert (Rob) B. Crooke as CEO, previously senior vice president and general manager of Intel's Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. To read more, see: https://www.intc.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/1513/intel-sells-ssd-business-and-dalian-facility-to-sk-hynixPerforms research, design, and development of test equipment software, library, program flow, fixture, hardware, probing, module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly (PBA). Responsibilities include technology pathfinding, architecture development, design material gathering, development of test strategy, device library, determining test parameters, specify test to be performed, conducting design review, designing test/fixture, performing fixture acceptance, debugging test/fixture, resolving design and implementation issues, performs testability and fault coverage analysis, meeting production quality and reliability requirement, and updating test/fixture as needed through product life cycle. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement: - Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, etc. - Fluent in Oral/Written English. - C/C++/python coding experience. Familiar with PC system, Windows/Linux applications - Quick Learning Skills. - Excellent teamwork and leadership skills and the ability to work well with teams outside of Intel, both in the US and Asia. - Experience in NAND/DRAM memory and SSD would be a plus.
