Job Description

This position is for an Intern (PDE) in the Test Intelligent Solutions team within the Design Engineering Group, DEG. TIS team charter is to deliver test infrastructure solutions that will reduce product development + test costs and increase test manufacturing throughput (post fabrication to ship) while maintaining outgoing product quality.
In this role, you will be expected to be a part of a pathfinding team in developing test solutions and collaterals to enable Intel's product roadmap for products on lead process technologies. This role has mainly software responsibilities, that in many examples interact with test hardware. In this role, you will be part of projects that have visibility and interaction with multiple areas within Intel.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Design and develop software solutions that run on and interact with test hardware
  • Ensures the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp
  • Makes significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits
  • Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods
  • Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment
  • Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions
  • Tests, validates, modifies and redesigns circuits to guarantee component margin to specification
  • Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability
  • Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field OR a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 3+ months experience in the following:

Data analysis practices
Good overall software background and strong coding skills necessary: Programming in one of the following: C/C++/C#, Perl,Python

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in:

  • Devops flows and practices
  • Python/ML techniques
  • Digital logic, computer architecture
  • Digital/Analog electronic circuits
  • Statistical analysis and characterization of semiconductor products
  • Automated Test Equipment
  • Semiconductor device physics
  • High Volume Manufacturing
  • Other: Ability to solve complex system level problems.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
