This position is for a Systems Engineer within SATG's System Software Engineering Group (SSE). The System Software Engineering (SSE) organization is responsible for enabling the Intel roadmap across operating systems and virtualization (Linux, Windows, Chrome OS, Android), cloud native infrastructure, runtimes, and the web platform. SSE ensures Intel builds software-first hardware platforms as well as driving adoption of Intel optimized system software in the ecosystem - with customers, OSVs (Operating System Vendors), CSPs (Cloud Service Providers). Billions of lines of code and all major enterprise and operating system software stacks are optimized for Intel architecture through SSE's many co-engineering engagements with ecosystem partners.
We are looking for a systems engineer to support our U.S. based engineering organization. General lab and Intel pre-production hardware support for overcoming technical issues with Intel PPHW platforms, knowledge to support both Windows and Linux. Responsible for maintaining pre-production systems in physical labs, with remote access infrastructure, and ensuring users can successfully access systems and complete their deliverables. This is a fast-paced ambiguous environment, requiring a combination of hardware, software, and networking skills with a diligent focus on customer orientation.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
� Bachelors with 1+ year of relevant experience related to Intel Pre-Production Hardware enabling or lab management in a high-tech environment.
� Technical certification, trade school diploma, Associates degree, or technical military experience with 3+ years of experience related to Intel Pre-Production Hardware enabling or lab management in a high-tech environment.
� 5+ years of work experience related to Intel Pre-Production Hardware enabling or lab management in a high-tech environment.
�Candidates should have the demonstrated ability to create and drive strategies, work independently, simultaneously manage diverse and extensive assignments while remaining organized and productive in a highly interrupt driven environment
�1+ years of experience with three or more of the following:
� Experience building up and maintaining servers and/or client systems
� Independently debugs cards, boards, systems.
� Configuring BIOS, BMC, upgrading Firmware, driver installs.
� Experience in removing/installing /troubleshooting server baseboards, CPU's, DIMM's, and storage devices.
� OS installs/deploys
�Pro-active, process-oriented, and conscientious with ability to communicate with and influence technical teams to achieve objectives.
�Work in fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. Multi-tasking skills are essential.
� Flexible in managing group tasks as different types of tasks will need priority attention on a given day.
� Enterprise and Client Intel PPHW experience with ability to create/modify technical documents
