Job Description

The Group:

Intel's Advanced Design (AD) team resides within the Design Enablement (DE) organization which works in close collaboration with our partners in process technology, IP, and products spanning client/server and networking products. The primary focus of AD is to guide process technology definition, and design prototypes in Intel's latest process technology, supporting Intel's internal and external design customers.

The Person:

Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Performs logic design for functional units and subsystems in Analog/Mixed-Signal IP, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for IPs and SoC. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design, pre-silicon verification and post-silicon testing.


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Computer or Electrical and Computer Engineering with at least 1 year of professional experience,

  • Ph.D. in Electrical, Computer or Electrical and Computer Engineering 

Experience in each of the areas listed below is required to be considered for this position:

  • Logic design

  • Digital architecture

  • Expert in RTL design and verification.

  • Preferred skill:

  • Experience with BIST, I/O calibration/adaptation and wireline I/O architecture is an asset, but not required

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
